The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has just unveiled the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets for the WBJEE 2024. Test-takers can now access their response sheets online at the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in – and, if needed, contest any discrepancies they find.
The deadline to review and contest responses is set for May 24th, closing at 11:59 pm. To initiate the review process, candidates must submit a one-time non-refundable fee of Rs 500 per response. Responses without accompanying fee payments will not be considered for review.
Here are the steps to review and raise objections:
- Visit the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in.
- Select the “view and challenge” option for WBJEE 2024.
- Sign in using your application number, password, and a case-sensitive security pin.
- The OMR sheet will be displayed on your screen.
- Identify any discrepancies and raise objections against the responses.
- Download and save the OMR sheet for future reference.
- Note the question booklet number and series code provided.
- In case of dissatisfaction with the displayed information, inform the examination authority via email at info@wbjeeb.in within the stipulated deadline.
For questions falling under category-I and category-II (where only one option is correct), responses are denoted as A, B, C, or D. Unanswered questions are marked with “-“, while questions with multiple answers receive a “*” notation, as per the notification.
The provisional answer key for WBJEE 2024 was released on May 7th, with the challenge window remaining open until May 9th. The board will subsequently release the final answer key and the results. It’s important to note that no corrections or requests will be entertained by the board after the specified deadline.
